Imagination Brings Home Gold at The Clio Awards

Yes!

We’re so stoked on the continual outpouring of love for Imagination, our short film featuring Tom Wallisch that we filmed on the streets of Nelson, BC.

We knew that the film would resonate within the snowsports community, but to have it recognized on the global stage is a great honour.

This latest accolade, a Clio Music Award, acknowledges our use of music in the piece.

Song choice can make or break an edit, and we’re always looking for the perfect track.

“Because I’m Me”, by The Avalanches, ended up fitting our vision for the film perfectly.

“We also have to thank JP Auclair and Landon Basset for pulling strings from the heavens (not to mention writing and executive producing the film),” says Director Dave Mossop.

“None of this would not have happened without them. Also, a massive thanks to the whole The North Face and Sherpas family who brought it all to life.

It is phenomenal for us to be rewarded so wonderfully after everyone’s tireless efforts.”

Of course we’d also like to thank the town of Nelson for showing us such a warm welcome while we were there filming.
